From designs to shows
Inspiration
After developing a sense of style, I stumbled upon Alexander McQueen. Not only was I fascinated with his art but also his life. His weird concepts and uncomfortable themes are the inspiration for this blog. My hope is McQueen can be my springboard to launch me into other branches of the fashion world.
Concept
In the world of fashion, doubles are ever-present. With models, sketches, mannequins, and even the runway show themselves. The designers themselves are often split with their artistic personality and internal minds.
Execution
Through this blog, I will demonstrate my knowledge and understanding of the two sides of fashion through analysis of sketches, runway shows, photography, and the final product…the clothes.
